This park and amphitheater was not built by one person, one organization, or one large benefactor.  It was built by this community – by families who gave what they could, by volunteers who gave their time, and by leaders who gave their vision and perseverance.  Every brick, every bench, every decorative light carries the spirit of generosity.

Located here in Washington County, this space serves not only as a place of recreation, but as a stage for opportunity.  In addition to the many community organizations, four public schools in Washington County have the ability to use this amphitheater for performances, concerts, ceremonies, artistic displays, and gatherings.  Imagine the music that will fill the air, the applause that will echo across the park, and the confidence that will grow in individuals, young and old, as they step onto the stage.

A park is a comfortable and pleasing place to enjoy a picnic lunch.  An amphitheater is where music will rise into the evening sky.  Together, they become a gathering place – where families come together, where students and other individuals shine, and where community traditions are built.

This space stands as proof that when a community invests in itself, the return is measured not in dollars, but in joy, connection, and belonging.

To everyone who donated – whether it was a large gift or the purchase of a meal at one of the many fundraising events – you built this.

To the volunteers and workers who made the vision real – you shaped this.

And to the families who will fill it with laughter, music, and celebration for generations – you are the purpose.

May this park be a place of peace.  May this amphitheater be a place of celebration.  May it be a stage for voices, young and old, and a gathering place for our entire Washington County community.
